Shaw’s, Wakefield-Narragansett, Ayusa

Experience with agency AYUSA was neutral.
I signed up in December , counting is not too late, expecting that I will get the desired place or the other of them just say . Many times I applied for interviews but was rebuffed, often under the pretext that there is a lot of people in front of me . I can say that this was the Minimum 3.4 times . The answer that I received from the agency is' do not be picky , "and then offer me the place where the interest is zero . In the interview with San Diego and the famous conversation we were all rejected for reasons unknown to us personally . During my problems in the US with a schedule Intrax has not invested a minute of time to help us with solving this problem. The answer we received from Intrax is to look for a job in Mecca. Deck from Russia refused to offer when he found another job and sent to the employer that he can not work here .

Experience with location Narragansett, RI was positive.
The town is small and excellent if someone wants to rest. There are no night clubs and cafes . There are few restaurants where the weekend can be spent- Wheel House and Georges of Galilee . It is very difficult to find accommodation because in this period is tourist season and nobody wants to issue for the long haul . A second job can be found very easily but mostly fast food restaurants ( mek , five guys , wheel house, ... ) .

Experience with employer Shaw's was negative.
Wage per hour : 9 Number of hours per week : 25 Average tips : 0 The job meant chopping fruits and vegetables , packed in containers and placing declaration. The space in which it is extremely cold , virtually refrigerator that is not written in the contract. Any recommend to bypass this position if you are sensitive to cold. Also , I'm not sure if someone wants to spend the summer wearing 3 sweatshirt and two pairs of socks , and then go out to a temperature of 30+ All the Shaws had jumped in probles because it did not respect the minimum hourly wage in the contract ( 32h) . The Director of the supermarket gave us even 15h a week but fortunately the shop manager was always helping us and giving us few more hours . Help from Intrax as from Ayusa also, acording to timetable we did not get. 20 hours a week is not enough that someone survives in America if there he has no other work.

This review represents personal opinion of Marko who was participating Work & Travel program in year of 2015 with agency AYUSA, working at Shaw's in Narragansett, RI.
