    A pleasant little place. Beautiful beach, long, decorated the city center, with about 15 shops, a lot of fast food shops, plenty of motels and hotels. There are not many places to go, 3-4 bars, and a disco that is open until 1 am. If you work two jobs, more than enough for a good night life. :) Everybody are friendly, amazing culture in traffic. There is a local bank, which I recommend to everyone. Max are friendly, expeditious, and you can not remain indifferent to their hospitality. I even went there to cheer her up, but as a way to check on something. :) In May and September can be a litle bit cold so be sure to bring sweatshirts and slightly warmer clothes. May and October require a jacket. ;) There's a lot of wind and even when the temp. about 35 C, is tolerable. This year there was no a lot of rainy days, only 7-8, but it varies as well in any other place. Portland is near, and there you can šopingovati a large outlet center. The possibility of finding another job is solid, except that after mid-June already run out of position, so as soon as you arrive you are looking for.

    OOB is a place I will remember by really great people . As for the jobs I had as many as three ( housekeeping , cashier, hostess ) I really enjoyed doing the same . Permanent communication with people , every day speak for itself ... In free time chilling on the beach ... As for night life , since Maine is one of the more conservative places in America , nightclub worked until 1am , but why would this be a problem when there is a good organization house parties. And I think that the primary goal is to be relaxing and hardwork so that in fourth month you could enjoy in your previous work. Overall wherever you went , it depends on you, everything from your resourcefulness , endurance , communication ... Precious experience , where you will get to know yourself! Happy to all!!!

    OOB je mjesto koje cu pamtiti po zaista divnim ljudima. Sto se tice poslova ja sam imala cak tri(housekeeping,cashier,hostess) I zaista sam uzivala radeci iste. Permanentna komunikacija sa ljudima,svaki dan prica za sebe... U slobodno vrijeme chilling on the beach...Sto se tice nocnog zivota,buduci da je Maine jedno od konzervativnijih mjesta u Americi,nocni klub je radio do 1am ,ali zasto bi to bio problem kada postoji dobra organizacija house party-ja. A i smatram da ce vam primarni cilj biti relaxing and hardwork da biste cetvrti mjesec mogli da uzivate u vasem minulom radu.Generalno gdje god otisli,od vas samih zavisi sve,od vase snalazljivosti,izdrzljivosti,komunikativnosti... Precious experience,gdje cete bolje upoznati sebe! Srecno svima!!!

    Season begins in late June, and then the second , third and even find a job without a problem, but if you are persistent you can get lucky before. There were people who worked more than 100 hours a week . The second job will give you 99 % will be housekeeping , because " one million " motels along the coast. Captain are between 8.5 $ -10 $ + tips. I have worked until September 9 $ , a tip was negligible. In September I moved to another motel and radio until the end of the month for $ 10 and a good tip. Nightlife is mostly limited to house parties etc . There are a couple of clubs where you can go out , they are quite OK but work until 1 am . The nearest big city is Portland, there is something better, but again, nothing special. Also, immediately after coming OOB town of Saco, in whom you have Funtown & amp; Splashtown (amusement park) with excellent facilities. Also, if someone interested in skydiving, some 2 hours Lebanon is a place where i can do that :) Boston to two hours away by train. Return ticket about 44 $. The climate is awkward for those who love hot summer. It's been known to happen in August to drop such a fog that "you can not see your hand in front eye". The water in the ocean quite cold, but ..... who cares for that, and we have to tease a little bit. Be sure to bring your sweater or two (preferably older things will be thrown at the end of the season because the new things can be bought quite cheaply), raincoat, because a lot of rain falls. In early September morning temperature falling to about 6-7 degrees. Locals friendly, with what their grinning and greeting even though they see for the first time in my life. Students have most Bulgarians, then Jamaicans and Turks. There were also Russians, Ukrainians, Moldovans, Romanians, Chinese, Kazakhs ,, Jordanians, Albanian, Dominican, Azerbaijanis, and even the Spaniards. Of course, people from ex-Yu - Serbs, Bosnians, Croats, Macedonians .... We had a great relationship. All in all, I think you can find better place for earnings etc. If you want a place where you will know "everyone" and have good fun after work, to have security, power to stay on the beach all night / morning stroll relaxed with his girlfriend in a 4 am .... then this is the place for you.
