Kittery is a very small place. There is almost nothing but a huge outlet. The only thing I really liked was a beautiful nature. A lot of woods, lots of greenery, on the ocean .. Not a place where I could live, but excellent for the work and travel. There are a lot of students, I think most of us Serbs. Additional work is easy to find. There are lots of outlets. Immediately next to the Kittery only 2-3km is the next city, Portsmouth. So that another job can there be found. The city Kittery has some association of pensioners, aka volunteers who have always helped J-1 students. They organized parties, organized a free transport students to Boston, sometimes even further. They also shared every Wednesday free food. The whole city is collecting money for the poorer part of the population, and there was we too :) We took bread, milk, eggs, meat, cosmetics, everything was given. So in essence, except the costs of accommodation, other costs do not exist. In the next city, Portsmouth you have everything else you need. Supermarkets, a cinema, a bowling alley, swimming pool, disco .. Boston is very close too an hour by bus ..

Kittery is a small town , where a big outlet , this certainly can find extra work and there . In any case , there is a Portsmouth ( New Hampshire ) for 10 min on foot , the central town, with plenty of restaurants and places for the additional work . Environment is phenomenal . As the north , the climate is perfect without great heat . The nightlife of Portsmouth , where there are pubs and discotheques , etc. is fine , people are phenomenal , friendly , and realy kind. Phenomenal experience
