Lake Placid Lodge, Lake Placid, NY, United Work and Travel

Experience with agency United Work & Travel was positive.
In my case was a many complications, around that, agents of the agency has always on time and went out to meet and everything is solved without major difficulties .

Experience with location Lake Placid, NY was neutral.
As for the extra work , the experience of people who were with me on the program are very different . Some were very simple while others had difficulties . This is largely dependent on the employers and the conditions that they are asking . That's why there are these differences . Lake Placid is located in the north of the state of New York in the Adirondacks mountains, so the air was mountain . This is one of the reasons why I chose this place for my WT experience. When I arrived there, followed by a shock , because we all occurred on the street even though they see me for the first time in my life. They are extremely hospitable all residents , even those who come just for the summer there were quickly fit into this mechanism . Nightlife is not something rich. There are several bars that have worked every night , some of them organized by the Balkan Nights ( due to the large number of people from the Balkans ) were at home (which I did not really like it too ) . Overall impression : A very happy summer with a lot of laughter and kidding

Experience with employer Lake Placid Lodge was positive.
My happiness lies in the fact that I speak good English, so for me a month and a half slipped through all positions and improve as much as possible . I started to work as a dishwasher only 1 day to move me and trained with all other positions as soon as they saw that they can better take advantage of me . After a month and a half ago I became the first ever J1 Server Fine Dining restaurant . Of course, with increasing responsibilities and increased my salary.
