Publix, Panama City Beach, Florida, Inspirit
Experience with agency Inspirit was neutral.
I had a little trouble of nervousness, and with them, a job for which I applied, ie. town, little me retarding and after certain payments say that all of the city there are filled. We also had problems with passports after the approval of visas, since agency from Novi Sad, and have representatives in Belgrade, a little mixed up our passports, but a couple of people did not know a day or two where they are. In addition, they are great, nice communication we had before the trip, and while we were there.
Experience with location Panama City Beach, FL was positive.
A quiet little town, a car is more than desirable, as public transport is not the best.
They say that the season was bad, but who wanted could found job at the hotels as housekeeper.
Experience with employer Publix
was positive.
Hourly: 10.5 $ (officially) of which were refused federal tax Number of hours per week: from 37 to 40-42 weekly Average tips: not allowed in my department
I made sandwiches and prepared foods sold at the end of working hours to wash everything from floor to ceiling. Workers (and some managers), they said that this is by far the most difficult department.
This review represents personal opinion of Tijana Stevanovic who was participating Work & Travel program in year of 2013 with agency Inspirit, working at Publix in Panama City Beach, FL.
